Course Difficulty & Impact
This rigorous course sees a steep drop-off: up to 40% of students leave after Lecture 0, and over 75% by Lecture 1. Ultimately, only around 1–2% of enrollees complete all problem sets and projects, making CS50x one of the most challenging introductory CS courses in the world.
